I first got to hear about Chat Bots in 2017 as a means to communicate with customers. Many of us unconsciously have been using Facebook’s chat bot in Messenger a few years ago without know where this technology was heading towards.

What You Probably Don’t Know…

The first chat bot was created by Joseph Wiesenbaum in 1966, named Eliza. It all started when Alan Turing published an article named “Computer Machinery and Intelligence”, and raised an intriguing question,

“Can machine think?”

Ever since then chat bots have started to get more more smart with machine language that understand how humans interact and think. The BOTS can understand human language, process it and interact back with humans while performing specific tasks. The advancements in AI Chat Bot technology have led us to an era where conversations with chat bots have become as normal and natural as with another human.

a chat bot can be employed as a help desk executive. It can be programmed to answer simple or complex questions that a potential customer of your may have regarding your business.

In 2021 I see many companies use chat bots in their business to help customers get answers immediately and allowing the business owner to be able to deal with potential clients who need specific answers.
